I've received invitations to several of these sort of events in the past... but I've never actually been to one... can't remember why... maybe I was busy or forgot about it or something... but this time, I made an effort to go as I have been really stressed up at work... I guess it was an excuse for me to leave work early for once!
And Bin Bin was free to go with me as well... although we were both kinda late!! :P
The event was held to launch their new winter (yes, winter is here...) arrivals... and apart from the 20% discount on the entire new collection, they had free drinks sponsored by Bacardi... they also had stations where you could have your makeup, nails and hair done as well! And there was a lucky draw of £100 MANGO voucher and GLAMOUR subscription... but as you would have guessed... no neither did Bin Bin nor I won the lucky draw... bleh...
But still... we had our door gifts... which were not too bad in my opinion!
AND..... aarrrrrgggggghhhhhh... I was tempted into buying a new jacket... I blame it on those who were there! Everyone was grabbing the items off the shelves as though it was free rather than 20% off!
So there... now I splurged on £64 on this new jacket... sigh... I'm such a shopaholic and succumbed to retail therapy so easily... Every time I'm stressed or moody... I end up shopping!!!
