Winter Wonderland

If you think that it doesn't really snow in London... think again...

It all started on an innocent Sunday afternoon... when the snowflakes started falling... but as usual, everyone dismissed it saying that the snow wouldn't settle and by the next few hours, it would be melted and gone...

But guess what... it DIDN'T... the snow was heavier and heavier and by midnight... everything was covered with snow already... still everyone weren't convinced and even made plans to go to work the next day...

Surprise surprise!!! It was the heaviest snow fall in the last 18 years, causing all trains and buses in London to be cancelled, and airports and schools to be closed... everyone couldn't get to work unless you try trudging through the snow!!!

Just look at how thick the snow was...

And how deep my shoes sink in when I stepped on the layers of snow...

Everything was covered with thick inches of snow... all white everywhere...

Had to work from home... but it was so difficult given that even the phone network was also affected by the snow and we couldn't have face to face meetings...
Still, I couldn't resist and went downstairs to enjoy the snow a bit...

Snowman snowman... cute snowman... and we even have a family of snowmen...

Huge snowball fights...

The snowman is even taller than me!!!

This is truly winter wonderland... I could almost imagine myself being in some Scandinavian country or a ski resort!!!
