In the calm and silence of the night,
I felt a whiff of you,
the leaves stirred as if someone had passed by.
I smelt your scent strong and clear,
I heard what seemed like your steps.
Was that your face I saw amidst the darkness?
was it your shadow I caught around the corner?
Alas it wasn't so.
I thought I closed my mind to your shadow,
I thought I've redrawn the boundaries.
I guess that hasn't happened yet,
as I still see glimpses of your shadow.
